Pan-fried celeriac

Ingredients:

- celeriac
- polenta
- egg
- salt

Peel and cut celeriac into slices (4-5mm).



Bring water to the boil and cook peaces of celeriac for few minutes. Set aside to cool.
In one bowl mix 2-3 eggs, in the second bowl pour palenta.

Put one slice into the egg mixture,


then into palenta.



Heat the oil and fry celeriac on the both side.



I served with lettuce salad, spring onion and mashed spinach.

I always see celeriac and never quite know what to do with it, other than soup. This recipe is really tempting, may have to try it the next time I come across celeriac. Thanks you for sharing.
